Dynamic Stockist Finder
The TMD Friction Group is one of the world's leading producers of brake friction who's products are chosen by all the major car manufacturers all over the world.
Mintex Xtreme is one of the specialsit area's of the TMD Friction group. Mintex Xtreme brake pads use advanced 'X-Series' friction formulations, derived from motorsport friction technology and engineered alongside the brakes. They supply directly to some of the world's leading vehicle manufacturers, including Aston Martin, Bugatti, Lamborghini and Porsche.
The Brief
Alight were asked to create a full online Presence for Mintex Xtreme, expanding on the new branding and packaging that Purebrand in Leeds had produced.
The site required a fully integrated multi lingual Content Management System, CMS, which would allow administrators of the site to keep it updated.
The site also required flash animations and components to showcase the new Xtreme products and the site also had to be Search Engine Friendly. Alight will implement an advanced Search Engine Optimization campaign once the site is completed.
The Results
Web Site Design & Development
We worked closely with Purebrand to ensure that the brands look and feel, from packaging to website design were kept in sync.
The site is complex; therefore we broke it down into four key areas to be developed over a three month period. The first part of the site went live in June and the final section of the site will go live in August.
Content Managment System (CMS)
The Content Management System that we used is one of the most advanced systems on the market. Developed by Halnet Solutions, the CMS is very user friendly, very secure and allows us to develop specialist areas into the system.
It is also one of the only CMS systems that is search engine friendly, which is paramount to this project.
Dynamic Maps | UK Stockist Finder
The stockist finder is one of the more complex items on the Xtreme site. The map is powered by Google maps, over which we laid a dynamic post code grid that cross references postcodes of suppliers over a map of the UK. This allows you to find the stockist closest to your location.
